Smile & Laugh
Research shows that children smile an average of 400 times per day, compared to the average adult who smiles 40-50 times per day and the typical adult who smiles only 20 times per day. Smiling and laughing can help release cortisol and endorphins that can reduce blood pressure, increase endurance, reduce pain, reduce stress, and strengthen the immune system. Additionally, people who smile are often perceived as more likeable, courteous, and competent and tend to be more productive at work and make more money. To increase your daily smile average, try starting your day with a smile, as smiling is contagious and can lead to more smiles not just for you but for those around you.
