Cut down ultra-processed food
These foods have a wide range, including instant soup, packaged snacks, and certain meat products, and they tend to have long shelf lives and many ingredients that are not commonly used in home cooking. Studies have linked the consumption of ultra-processed foods to a number of health risks, including obesity, high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, and dementia. However, it's important to note that not all ultra-processed foods are equally unhealthy, and some, like whole grain, ultra-processed foods, can be a good source of fiber. To make a healthier choice, one can look for foods with fewer ingredients and fewer additives, and choose whole grains over refined grains.
