Sleep
Adequate sleep can help in maintaining or losing weight, increase focus and productivity, improve athletic performance, protect the heart and lower the risk of certain diseases such as diabetes, improve mood, boost immune system, increase sexual desire, protect safety. Not getting enough sleep can increase risk of developing obesity and weight gain, impair brain function, increase risk of injury and lower motivation to exercise, increase risk of heart disease, diabetes, and depression and affect mood, immune system and sexual desire.
