Get out in the Sun

Getting anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes of sunlight on your arms, hands, and face twice or three times a week is enough to reap the vitamin D-boosting benefits of the sun.

But it's important to protect skin by using sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or greater when spending more than 15 minutes in the sun.
